Ahh, life.

Last weekend was so much fun. Events included: dinner and Diddy Riese in Westwood with Erin and her friends from high school, watching the amazing red tide with Erin Mac, Chris Jones, Nick, and Clay, the beach, Marmalade and Nicole Richie sighting with Chris, relaxing with Erin, amazing Calvary church service, Chili's with Erin, Andrew, Jon, Jesse, Collin, Jackson, and Jack Smothers, pick-up soccer, BBQ at Latigo Canyon, carnival rides at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off, jumping off rocks at Malibu Creek State Park, caf seshes, and naps. Mmmm, delicious.

CHRIS. Brought. Me. The most amazing smelling bouquet of lillies...just to tell me that even though things have been rough for us, he is willing to wait. How did I get so lucky?

Things with Andy have been amazing. We've kept in touch, kind of...but I feel so much more over him. I am feeling better about myself, more confident with life. And it probably helps that I love Pepperdine so much.

I have been so busy that on the weekends I just want to crash. Ro Chi stuff is so fun, and not at all as hard as I had imagined. I can't wait for Rush. I've been blessed with the craziest opportunity of becoming on staff on The Graphic as the Perspectives Assistant. I love it. Along with my journalism class, I feel like I've already learned so much. My classes have tons of reading, so I'm trying to always be ahead, never behind. Erin and I are going to a Young Life meeting on Monday and hopefully they have openings for leaders. I've been running a lot, too, which is therapeutic. And, of course, the beach.

I've been hanging out a lot on weeknights, too, which breaks up the monotony of the week, especially since I don't have class on Wednesday. From Malibu Yo to Laguna Beach marathons to cooking dinner and Funfetti at friends houses, it's been a lot of fun.

Tonight, me, Erin, Karli, and Karli's friend, Katie, had dinner at Malibu Seafood and dessert at, where else, Malibu Yo. We just came back here and watched "Heavyweights", a classic. Tomorrow I have Step Forward Day, which should be sweet. I hope I get to do something with the Hurricane Katrina victims. Two hours after we get back from volunteering, I'm going on a Ro Chi retreat for Rush prep and bonding time. Ashley Wilkerson, a fellow Ro Chi who preffed me for DG, is in my Rush group, so I'm stoked. And we get free Cheesecake Factory and LASER TAG. I mean, is there really anything more?

Life is beautiful. God is perfect, and he has provided me with so much. I am so grateful.
